For the Love of Shinedown

Some of you may be wondering why my blog has kind of turned in to one big ad for Shinedown, between the banners and the widgets plus all the videos and pictures. The videos and pictures are my own doing but the banners and widget I added for a reason. Well 2 reasons one because I really like the band and think Brent Smith is a talented singer and song writer. The second reason I have added this is because I signed up to help promote the band. I am now what you call a street promoter for Shinedown. We sign up for missions and when we complete them you get points. Once you get enough points you earn free stuff. So if Shinedown were to come to town or close by I can sign up for a mission and if I got accepted I can go early help sell items or hand out fliers, some missions you can get 2 free tickets to the concert. You may be able to meet the band before hand and other cool stuff. I can sign up for more bands that they have for the web site but I thought one was enough for now. The only problem begin is if Shinedown never came back to the area then I can’t do the fun missions I think they will but it may not be soon. I did find out Shinedown will be in Nampa tomorrow for the Carnival of Madness tour (wish I was there). but you have to live an hour away. They were in Nampa in May also so there is interest in this area now if they will just come here. I have done 6 online missions and have done 1 off line mission. All I had to do is get 5-10 posters up in town. I got to keep a poster for my self, these posters you can’t find in stores to buy they are promotional ones. So I get posters the general public gets (unless they take one off a wall or some where.) So I though this was a cool way to show my support for a band I love plus get some cool stuff. When I do more missions I will update here.
