At Talladega everything was going well. Jeff lead laps was up the front. He was have great Pits stops. Then Car 44 got a blown tire right in front of Jeff. Jeff tried to get a round him and Hit the wall. He had a lot of Front end Damage. He will try to get back out but change for a win number 7 at this track is over. He is still Winless this Season. He went from 6th in points to 9th.
On Lap 69 Bryan Vickers got a blown tire in the front of the field
and cause the big one. The red Flag came out to halt the race to get
everything get cleaned up. All the Drivers walked away after one guy got hit 5 times before it was over.
Jimmy Johnson is not having a good race either. He lost the Draft early on. Went a lap down and the car is not driving well. Dale Jr Is having a good race. He is leading a lot of laps and may be able to pull something off. The beginning of the weekend was some else. He had to change a motor in the first practice. Then get a blown tire in in Happy Hour and caused a wreak. He had to start last with a back up car with a back up motor. Maybe he can get a win for Hendrick Motorsports.
Denney Hamlin hits the wall hard. Last report was he was awake and alert at the infield car center. But was going to be transported to the nearest hospital for observation.
Things keep changes. Dale Jr gets caught up in the big one. Most of the chaser were caught up in it. Jeff had a blown engine after he came back out and finished 38th for the day. Tires were a big problem in this race. Tony Stewart won the race. :((I am so going to here this from Brad. He is our Fed EX Ground Driver and is a huge Tony Fan and every week we give each other grief about the other person's driver)
Jimmy just wanted to finish and stayed in the back of pack He Finished 10th. Jeff fell to 8th in points by the end of the day.

I tuned in to see how the race was going before the next session of conference started, and it was RIGHT when Jeff got hit by the tire and got out. I looked at Scott and said, "Krystal isn't going to be happy about this..." :) At least he is okay and better luck next time.
Grandma and I did check into the race occasionally but missed the crash. We noticed tht Jeff's name was at the end and it said "off" so we thought he had been in a wreck. All is well here. Can't wait for your Mom to come down this week!!! Love Ya Auntie
