Last night Megan, Scott and I went to go see Daughtry for Megan's birthday. We started the night off with Dinner at Ruth Chris a fancy steak restaurant. It was very good but very pricey. I had the stuffed chicken breast. It was very good. IT was stuffed with Cheese. Megan and Scott had steak and got the meal. Megan shared her garlic mashed potatoes with me and they were very yummy. They also got dessert and since we were celebrating Megan's birthday We got a free desert as well. We had a good time eating and talking. It was fun to go to a very nice restaurant. I am sorry to tell you but i still went in jeans. But i was going to be conformable at the concert. I did have a nice shirt on. Well until some cheese from the stuff chicken breast fell on my shirt. and lifted a grease spot. Only me. :)
Dinner took a little longer then we planed. So we were a half hour late for the concert so we missed Mike Shanchez. We got to hear one song. It was a journey song. We went out to the lobby were i got a shirt, poster and necklace.
I made homemade VIP Passes for me and Megan to be able to a fun keepsake and put our tickets in. don't they look cool.I found a photo online that had all the artists and then i added the place time and date. I think they turned out rather well.
We went back to our seats and waited for Safety Suit to come out and play. They were very active on stage jumping around spinning and just having a good time. Right before the last song the lead singer dislocated his shoulder. He sat down to sing the song when an attempt to put it back in failed. He sang the whole song but you could tell he was in a lot of pain. He needed help getting off the stage. That shows you his dedication to the band and music. some musicians would have gotten off the stage and not finished. we then had to wait about 10 to 15 minutes for Daughtry. Let me tell you it was worth the wait. He was awesome. The whole bad was good. He sang great. I stood for the whole thing. My feet still hurt. :) I knew all of the songs. he also sang two songs that were not his and i knew them Tom Petty's Running down a dream and Billy Idols More More More. After the show we got to meet Dave Garofalo – guitar player for SafetySuit he signed my poster and Megan's CD. it was very cool.
