For the first race of the season (Not a Points Races) was very exciting. A lot of changes for drivers moving to new teams to new Paints schemes. There was a lot to get use to. Including Jimmy Johnson's beard. First was the 25 segment. It had a lot of crashes. The first crash was on lap 5. Let me tell you what a heart stopping moment for Jeff Gordon fans like me. It

happened right in front of him and he missed 4 cars by snaking his way through. One car that didn't make it through was rookie Joey Logano. This kid (and I say kid because he is only 18 years old) was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I think this year I will root for him for Rookie of the Year. Even though he only went 5 laps, in all his interviews he seems to be really well rounded and knows how to act in front of a camera. (He will be my Third drive to cheer for after Gordon and Johnson) Also did you notice he is Driving Tony Stewart's old car number 20 with his old Sponsor :)

Gordon made his way around to leap a lap and kind of go to the front and the back most of the race. In the 50 lap segment Dale Jr and Gordon led a couple of laps. when half way through another wreak took out Dale Jr. Gordon came to get fresh tires and try to make a run for it when the last caution came out with 2 laps to go He was in second. One the restart Gordon got push out of the way to go to 8th but made his was back to 4th with a cation came taking Jimmy Johnson and a bunch of others out of the race. Kevin Harvick (Happy Havrick) came out to win.

So Harvick 1st
Jamie McMurray 2nd
Tony Stewert 3rd
Jeff Gordon 4th
Jimmy Johnson 14th
Joey Logano 28th.
