Martinsville Motorspeedway

Another Fun Race at Martinsville Motorspeedway. A lot of crashes, Lead changes and A Exciting Finish
I was not sure if they would have the race today. It has been raining all weekend. Qualify in was rained out and the truck race was as well. This is the 25th year since Rick Hendrick won his first race as a owner in the Sprint Cup series . Jeff started on the pole because they set the field by owner points. He has lead a lot of laps at the beginning. Jimmy Johnson had a a bad pit stop but is making his was back to the front. Dale Jr didn't start off to a great start but he is also making his was back up. Joey Logano is not having a great race but he is holding his own. Jeff could not hold on to the lead and was pasted by Hamilin.
Then it was a shootout between Hamilin and Jimmy. Jimmy took the checker flag. Gordon came in 4th with dale jr 8th, All Hendrick cars finished in the top 8. A very good day for Hendrick Motorsports. Joey Finished 32nd.
Points Jeff 1st
Jimmy 4th
Dale Jr 16th
Joey 34th
